When people create a blog they do so because they are passionate about a certain subject and enjoy writing about that topic. They do it for themselves but virtually all “bloggers” enjoy knowing that what they are writing is being read by others. As we watch the total number of readers increase over time we feel that what we are writing serves a purpose. One way of letting the writer know that you are reading his/her blog is by adding a “comment” by clicking on the “comment” section at the bottom of each post. Nothing is more satisfying to a blogger than to see that someone has commented (good or bad) about what has been written.
I have received quite a few nice e-mails from chefs, restaurant owners and wine makers who enjoyed what they read on my blog. It would have been much more satisfying if they had made those remarks in the “COMMENT” section of the blog.
So, what I am trying to say is simply this; if you read something that you feel had value, was off base, helped you find a wine or restaurant that you enjoyed, do me this favor, let me know what you thought by adding your “Comments” at the end of the post. Thank you.
